We can help you, or you can do it yourself When updating a Web site, it should not be more than two (2) versions of it, one public on the Internet, and the other one locally on your harddrive. You will make the changes locally, and then send them to the server, which will replace the old public version. To change local htm/html files we suggest you either buy or download (for free) software. Netscape has a built-in "Editor" in their browser, which can be downloaded from their Web site, http://www.netscape.com. We think that Microsoft FrontPage is even better, and you can download a temporary version or buy it from their Web site. Try http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage. Instructions how to use the software is provided by the manufacturer, but you can also consult with egOn for tips and tricks. For sending files from your harddrive to the server we recommend that you use FTP (File Transfer Protocol). One software for this is WS FTP that can be downloaded through http://www.download.com. Contact egOn for your specific information (settings for the FTP including Hostname, ID, Password) that is needed to get access and making the changes public.
